Substitutes:

Note: You have selected a substitute pet.
The strategy might fail if you use it with this pet instead of the one the strategy creator intended.

The substitute finder looks for these criteria in relation to the original pet:
  • Same family
  • Has the required skills
  • Has the required stats (if specified)
  • Ignores specific breed requirements for the main pet, as breeds can be very different for substitutes

Low XP
Breed
At least one of the pets for this strategy require the use of a specific breed.
Not every strategy can be bullet proof. This is one of them. You might have to restart it, since there are some random elements that increase the risk of your pets failing. Don't blame them, please!
This strategy is using pets obtainable from the Wow Trading Card Game (TCG) or the auction house for potentially high sums of gold.
This strategy is using pets obtainable only from the WoW In-Game Shop for Battle.net Balance or real money.
You can use this strategy to carry a low level pet to give it experience.
Some instructions are more difficult to follow than others. That's exactly what you might find in this strategy!
Script
The strategy offers a Script that can be used with the Pet Battle Script addon. You can copy the script by clicking on the button to the left of the pets.
At least one pet in the strategy cannot be obtained anymore. If you have it, congrats!
A Strategy Curator found this strategy to be especially helpful and higlighted it with this tag to give it more exposure.
In Dragonflight Patch 10.2, the ability Time Bomb has been changed. This tag is marking strategies using Time Bomb so they can be reviewed.

Capturing void creatures is fun they said. Nothing can go wrong they said.

10.3 Dragonflight worked first try.

Tried today with all the changes, and it worked perfectly.

Updates:

1. Added ability links.
2. Added speed values for pets based on the enemies they'll face (> 301, 301, 341)
3. Updated Burrow's instructions to not be used while the Dodge aura is up, which wastes a damage-free round.
4. Because I updated Burrow's instructions, the Script has also been updated, with an extra line to just use Flurry if the enemy hp is less than 246 (two Flurry hits with the lowest-power bunnies)
5. Because these have bene updated, and impact how the strat is used, ratings have also been reset. (edited)

Don't use Burrow while Dodge is active, that's wasted.
Here's the script with IDs, so it works for other languages, too.

ability(Dodge:312)
ability(Burrow:159) [!self.aura(Dodge:311).exists]
ability(Flurry:360)
change(next)

And the last enemy pet has 347 speed, so >300 is not enough, especially for your last pet. >301 for your first pet is okay.
I used Spring Rabbít, Rabbit and Alpine Hare each with SS breed successfully in 9.0.1

This is exactly right - turn 1, dodge, turn 2 flurry, turn 3 burrow. You get two turns filled with dodge that you don't take damage that way, plus you get the avoidance of burrow. Don't overlap, offset by one round.

I agree about at least the third pet having greater speed than the third enemy. Though I added a check for enemy hp after wasting a burrow on something low enough for a flurry to kill (123 is what my S/S pet did with one hit flurry).

ability(Dodge:312) [enemy.hp > 123]
ability(Burrow:159) [!self.aura(Dodge:311).exists & enemy.hp > 123]
ability(Flurry:360)

Works if they're faster than last pet, whose speed is 341. My S/S breed rabbits did it

Gnevs

wrote on 2022-03-13 15:21:28

This does work but make sure your 3rd rabbit is SS breed so it's faster than her last pet

Im not sure why but with this particular case my pets started to change 1 by one without doing anything using this script, so I change it to my original game language (esES) and it worked.
